Time passes quickly, it’s already August.
Before we wave the first month of Summer goodbye, we like to list 5 awesome social media updates you might have missed in July.
Last month I went to the States, where I discovered a bunch of happy (food) must-visits. Yep, I am that type of girl who always check Instagram (user generated content) before I enter. But one day, NYC local friends shared their thoughts about Maman … Like wow! That’s why todays shout out is focused on Maman NYC Instagram account; nice photography, a beautiful feed and funny copy. And in case you wonder, diet always starts on Monday.
BLUE BOTTLE COFFEE
I am not a dog – person, but this Instagram post by Blue Bottle Coffee definitely put a smiley on my face when it appeared in my feed. Not because of the dogs, but the copy “Blue Bottle ,Coffee: Here for all of your awkward first dates. #dogsofbluebottle” really made my day. Please make sure you Insta follow these guys, and when in the neighbourhood one day definitely pay them a visit.
& OTHER STORIES
Stand for something, at & Other Stories they make sure you do. I love the way they communicate through social media; amazing photography, lifestyle content without being too pushy or too commercial and the use of perky copy. I like the way how they set up their Instagram account, like, at first sight this account gives the impression it’s one of your best friends’ Instagram accounts.
As the H&M Group prepares to launch the newest retailer in its arsenal, it’s enlisting the help of social media — namely Instagram — to build interest. Arket has been raising consumer awareness since March, when it first began sharing images on its Instagram account. A dedicated Facebook account came shortly after, with initial posts showing up in June. Shared content through Facebook or/and Instagram shows what it’s all about.
POULE & POULETTE
Back to Belgium, where Poule & Poulette is one of my favorite lunch spots. July 21th, welcome to Belgium’s National Holiday; the day when some brands are allowed to show the combination of red / black and yellow, even on social media. Guess what Poule & Poulette did … they grabbed this opportunity to put their BE – origin in the spotlights and to inform all food lovers their products are caring a ‘Belgium made’ label.
