I’m Ines, and I will be joining the WE LIKE YOU squad for two weeks. I’m twenty years old, a little bit in love with my ginger cat and a coffee lover since I was ten years old (thanks to my mom).Let’s answer some questions to get to know me!
- How would you describe yourself?
I live by the saying ‘We’re all mad here’. I like to be different, I will never (read: try to) judge anyone and I want to live life the fullest.
- What’s the most interesting thing about you that we wouldn’t learn from your resume alone?
I’m quite into making videos. I think I’ve never felt more motivated to do something than assembling a video. In the future, I would love to do more (personal) projects and expand my knowledge.
- What inspires you?
I love to get inspired by other people. I get really motivated when I hang around people who are ambitious.
- What made you choose WE LIKE YOU for your internship?
When I first found the agency, their Instagram and website really stood out to me. I’m a sucker for lay-out, so my choice was made quickly.
- What do you anticipate learning during this internship?
I’m very excited to see what they do on a daily basis. It’s the first time I’m doing anything like this, so I’m curious to see how everything that I learned in school, translates to practice.
- How does your first day at WE LIKE YOU feel?
I immediately got offered coffee and everybody is very nice, so I couldn’t have wished for more.
- Are you a Social Media fanatic?
I’m very interested in Social Media and everything that comes with it. I study Cross Media Management, so I’m planning on making Social Media my job.
- How much time do you spend on social media?
I downloaded an app once that showed me how much time I spent on my phone… I deleted it that same day.
The only time you won’t see me scrolling through my socials, is either when I’m working, watching Netflix, eating or sleeping.
- Who or which brand do you like the most on Instagram?
Lizzy Hadfield is the first person who introduced me to the blogger and vlogger world. I think she makes inspiring content and stays true to herself.
- What do you think about the future of social media?
Social media ís the future. Traditional marketing is a no-go these days, so as a brand you have to make sure your online marketing is on point.
- What gets you up in the mornings?
Coffee or my cat, who most of the time is in desperate need of cuddles.
- How would you get an elephant into a refrigerator?
I would buy a refrigerator the size of an elephant. Problem solved and more place for food!
- What’s the silliest nickname ever given to you?
People call me ‘Nesnes’. I don’t think it’s silly though, I quite like it.
- Do you drink alcohol?
Absolutely. Warning: I immediately start hopping around after one glass and chances are big I will be giving you hugs.
I once read that if you get 12 hugs a day, you’ll be happier. So, I’m working on that!
- How would you describe you having a good time?
If you picture me with a good glass of white wine, pizza, my cat and Netflix you’ll have your answer.
- Instagram or Snapchat?
Instagram, without a doubt.
- What are your favourite apps?
I’ve always loved Instagram, but I also like scrolling through my Twitter feed to find interesting content.
- What is your favorite TV-show?
Friends is life. I think it’s the only show I could re-watch forever. I often compare myself to Monica. I hate it when I lose things, I like to live in a clean house and I can be a little weird.
PS: Still looking for my Chandler. Any suggestions: welcome!
- What is your favorite place to visit in the world?
The world is too big to name just one. If went to the West Coast once, and I really enjoyed that.
But I also love city tripping. In April I’m going to New York for the first time, verrrryyy very excited about that.
- Which kind of music genre do you ‘dig’?
I really love some good old classics or Indie rock, but I would be lying if I said I didn’t enjoy the cheesy music they play on the radio.
- What would you never ever wear?
I’m very picky in what I wear. So, a lot of things. To name a few: skinny jeans, high heels and everything that’s pink (if it’s layered with black, I might give it a chance).
Thanks for taking your time to get to know me a little!
- Last but not least, how do people recognise you?
I’m the girl with the fringe, most of the time dressed in her happy color black.
So, that’s about it. I’m really looking forward to learn new things from this amazing team. Bye!
